St. Aidan’s and Christ Church Held Joint Eucharistic Service and Picnic

On Sunday, September 7th, St. Aidan’s Machias and their sister church Christ Church Eastport gathered together for a joint Parish Eucharistic Service and Picnic at the Dennys River Sportsman’s Club and Conservation Preserve in celebration of the start of the Season of Creation. Flautists Connie Wiggin and Ann O’Brien played in accompaniment to Taizé songs (see picture above). That along with the setting and comradery of everyone that attended all helped to make the day a success. There was a sense of renewal felt by all – in ourselves, with each other and with God and his creation that remains with us still.
