St. Aidan’s Memorial Garden was several years in its planning and was inspired as a project by donations made in memory of Stephen Moyer, a loving parishioner who died in 2013. Stephen was known for his effervescent personality, down to earth attitude, and love of life.
Perennial bulbs are planted in the circle of the Celtic cross and a pink granite bench dedicated to Stephen sits at the base of the cross. The garden is surrounded by grass and lined with a row of rosa rugosa bushes that enclose the worship space making it a special area in which to meditate. Come enjoy this special place.
